Think She's Changed Fashion For The Better POLL
We've been talking about the 'Michelle Obama Effect' since the term was introduced, but there's finally some semiscientific research charting the First Lady's impact on the fashion world. Marist recently polled the public, compiling their opinions on this significant issue. Here's the findings:
41% of registered voters believe Michelle Obama has changed fashion for the better, nike free.
37% of voters said Mrs. Obama's style had a positive affect on fashion.5% thought she made it worse.34% said she had little impact on it.24% were unsure.
I love her style best when she sticks to simple, sleek bodyskimming lines in rich jewel toned solid colors. As much as I love belts and wear them well, I think Mrs. O should lose most of them. The seemingly random use of belts do not minimize her height and tend to chop her in half. She's a tall, dignifiedlooking lady and should wear her height proudly. To sum up, I'd advise her to stay away from bold prints, flared 1950s style or dirndl skirts, and keep belts to a minimum, making sure they are well coordinated with the total outfit instead of appearing randomly.
